To be honest we are really not fussy, but given that ambiguity can be stressful... The dress code for the welcome drinks on Saturday 24th May is smart casual. On the wedding day itself the code is 'something blue' for a summer wedding. Hats are great for the sun (we will be outdoors!). Ties are not necessary unless you want one.
If you are invited as a single guest then you are very welcome to bring a plus one to the wedding if you wish - just make sure you add their name when you RSVP. For couples and families everyone should be invited by name on the wedding invitation envelope, although if you have children that we did not add to the invite they are very welcome too!
Absolutely! We will be bringing our own two (obviously), and we will be arranging games and professional childminders/entertainers for the kiddies at the wedding venue itself. The venue is private, fenced off, green and spacious so there should be plenty of room for kids of all ages to find safe places to play while parents can catch up with friends, meet new people and enjoy a drink in the (hopefully) sunshine. With the heat and activities in mind we encourage comfortable clothes for the little ones!
